A rush courier run is not a parcel service with a faster sticker on it. It is a dedicated vehicle that goes from your pickup to your delivery and stops nowhere in between. Nothing gets sorted at a hub, nothing sits overnight on a belt in a facility in another state, and nothing gets bumped because a bigger customer's volume showed up.
That distinction matters most when the thing you are moving is worth far more than the freight charge. A signed contract that has to be executed before end of business. A replacement part that is holding a production line still. A set of closing documents that a title company needs before an office closes at five. In every one of those cases the delivery is not the cost, the delay is.

Further out, in Westchester, on Long Island, down toward Trenton, the honest answer depends on what is already on the board, and we will give you that answer on the phone rather than accepting the job and hoping.

Any rate card broad enough to cover every job in this metro would have to be priced for the worst case, which means overcharging most customers. We quote the actual job instead.

How quickly can a driver actually be at my door?
Inside the Newark, Jersey City, Elizabeth and Downtown Manhattan core, usually 45 to 90 minutes from the call in normal weekday traffic. Early morning and evening are faster. If you are further out we will give you a real number based on what is on the board, not an optimistic one.
Can you do a rush run at night or on a Sunday?
Yes. After hours, overnight, weekend and holiday runs are all available. They price differently from a weekday daytime run because of driver availability, and you will be told that difference when you are quoted, not afterwards.
What if the recipient is not there when the driver arrives?
We call you immediately while the driver is still on site, because that is when you still have options. Depending on what you tell us we can wait, attempt a nearby alternative address, or return the item. Waiting beyond the included window and any second attempt are billed, and we confirm that with you before doing either.
Do you carry high value items?
We do, within the cargo limits we confirm for your job. Tell us the value up front so we can put the right coverage and the right handling on it. Certain categories need special arrangements, and it is much better to establish that on the quote call than at the pickup.
