Five vehicle sizes, so you are not paying for one you do not need.
A single envelope does not need a box truck, and fourteen pallets do not fit in a cargo van. Carriers that only own one size of vehicle solve that by overcharging you or by turning the job down.
We quote the smallest vehicle that genuinely does the job. That is not generosity, it is how the pricing stays defensible. If a cargo van covers your delivery you should not be charged sprinter rates because a sprinter happened to be the one free.
Every vehicle in the fleet is maintained on a schedule rather than when something breaks, because a breakdown on a rush job is not a maintenance problem, it is a customer problem. Box trucks carry liftgates and pallet jacks as standard, which in this region is less an upgrade than a basic requirement given how many receiving points have no functioning dock.

Most failed deliveries in this metro are not caused by traffic. They are caused by arriving without the thing needed to get the freight off the truck.
Liftgates
On box trucks, which handles the very large number of receiving points in this metro with no usable dock.
Pallet jacks
So freight can be brought into the building rather than abandoned at the kerb.
Load securing
Straps, blankets and edge protection carried as standard. Damage in transit is almost always a securing failure.
Coolers
Insulated transport for medical and temperature sensitive runs, carried in the cabin.
Hand trucks and dollies
For stairs, long carries and buildings where the pallet jack is not going to work.
Proof capture
Signature and photo proof of delivery captured at the door and emailed through as jobs close.
Drivers
The equipment is the easy part.
Anyone can buy a truck. The difference between carriers is whether the person driving it knows what they are doing when something goes sideways.
Our drivers are employed on our routes rather than pulled from a gig pool per job. That matters for consistency, because a driver who has run your route for three months knows the buzzer that does not work, the receiving clerk who leaves at two, and the loading zone that is only usable before ten.
It also matters for accountability. When something needs escalating there is a named person who was actually there, not an anonymous contractor who has already logged off the app.
