Dispatch answers 24 hours a day

Airport and port

The part of the journey where most of the delay actually happens.

Air freight crosses an ocean in eight hours and then sits in a cargo building for two days. A container crosses the Pacific in three weeks and then waits at a terminal because nobody arranged collection in the window it was available. The long distance part of international freight is the reliable part. The last ten miles is where the schedule falls apart.

Those last ten miles are procedural rather than difficult. Knowing which cargo building an airline uses at Newark Liberty, and that it is not the one nearest the terminal. Knowing what paperwork the warehouse will demand before releasing to a driver. Knowing that arriving at a marine terminal without the right appointment simply means being turned around. None of that is complicated once you have done it a few hundred times, and all of it is expensive to learn on your own freight.

We are ten minutes from the Newark Liberty cargo area and about the same from the Port Newark and Elizabeth terminals. That proximity means we can respond to a release notification quickly, which is what actually determines whether freight moves today or sits until tomorrow. For JFK and LaGuardia we run scheduled and on demand collections across the Hudson.

Once we have it, the freight goes straight to its destination on the same vehicle, or comes back to our Newark space to be broken down and distributed. Either way it does not enter another carrier's network and there is no second company to chase.

Minutes from EWR cargo

And roughly the same to the Port Newark and Elizabeth marine terminals from Frelinghuysen Avenue.

What is included

Standard on every job of this type.

Collection from cargo buildings at Newark Liberty, JFK and LaGuardia.

Marine terminal collection

Pickups at Port Newark and Port Elizabeth, coordinated to the appointment window.

Release paperwork handling

Drivers arrive with the right documents so the freight is actually released on the first visit.

Direct onward delivery

Straight to your destination, or back to our dock for breakdown and distribution.

Fast response to release

Because we are minutes away rather than an hour, freight moves on the day it becomes available.

Right vehicle for the piece

From a van for a single air waybill to a box truck for a devanned container load.

Common jobs

What customers actually use this for.

If your situation is not on this list it does not mean we cannot help. It usually means it is a variation of one of them.

Import recovery and delivery

Air or ocean freight collected on release and delivered to your facility or your customer across the metro on the same day.

Export drop off

Delivering outbound freight into the correct cargo building or terminal ahead of the cut off, which is the deadline that actually matters.

Container devanning and distribution

A full container collected, brought to our Newark dock, unloaded and redistributed as individual deliveries.

AOG and time-critical air freight

Aircraft on ground parts and other shipments where the freight cost is irrelevant next to the cost of the delay.

What drives the price

No published rate card, and here is the honest reason why.

Any rate card broad enough to cover every job in this metro would have to be priced for the worst case, which means overcharging most customers. We quote the actual job instead.

These are the factors that move the number. Nothing else gets added afterwards, and the quote you agree is the invoice you receive.

FactorWhat it means
Terminal or facilityNewark Liberty is closest and cheapest. JFK and LaGuardia involve a crossing and price accordingly.
Piece count and sizeA single air waybill piece against a full container load are very different jobs.
Waiting timeTerminal and cargo building queues are real. A waiting allowance is included and the rate beyond it is stated up front.
Appointment timingAn overnight or early morning collection window prices differently from a midday one.
Onward destinationWhere it goes after collection, and whether it goes direct or via our dock.
Documentation handlingAny additional coordination needed with a broker, forwarder or the releasing warehouse.
Which airports and terminals do you cover?

Newark Liberty as the primary, plus JFK and LaGuardia, and the marine terminals at Port Newark and Port Elizabeth. Newark Liberty and the Newark and Elizabeth terminals are the ones we can respond to fastest, usually inside an hour of a release notification.

Can you handle the release paperwork?

We handle the driver side of it, meaning the driver arrives with the documentation the warehouse or terminal requires so the freight is released first time. Customs clearance itself is the job of your broker, and we coordinate with them rather than replacing them.

What happens if there is a long queue at the terminal?

It happens, especially at the marine terminals. A waiting allowance is built into the quote and the hourly rate beyond it is stated before the job. You get a call if the wait is running long, so you can decide whether to keep waiting or pull the driver off.

Can you collect a full container and unload it for me?

Yes. That is one of the most common jobs we run. The container is collected, brought to our Newark dock, unloaded and checked against your paperwork, and the contents either stay in storage or go straight back out as individual deliveries.
